Payment Methods: Processing via Netopia Payments
As part of our collaborations, we offer our business partners the possibility to pay for the processing and administration services of Tax Free operations through the Netopia Payments platform, using one of the following methods:
- Secure payment link sent by email or other agreed electronic means;
- Online card payment button integrated directly into the invoice issued by Ask For Tax Free SRL.
All payments made through Netopia Payments are processed under maximum security conditions, in accordance with PCI DSS standards and applicable legislation regarding personal data protection. Bank card details are not stored and are not accessible to Ask For Tax Free SRL.
The use of these payment methods is available exclusively based on a service agreement signed between the parties, which clearly specifies:
- the type and nature of the processing and administration services for Tax Free operations;
- the commissions, applicable fees, and invoicing/settlement conditions;
- the settlement deadlines and methods;
- the rights and obligations of each party;
- the conditions for suspension, termination, or cancellation of the collaboration and any applicable penalties (where applicable).
Ask For Tax Free SRL is a company specialized in facilitating and managing the VAT refund process for tourists from outside the European Union, in relation to purchases of goods made in authorized stores in Romania. Payment via Netopia represents only a payment processing method for personalized services delivered in accordance with the agreed contract.

Details regarding the final costs and applicable conditions for VAT refund services are established individually, depending on the circumstances of each request, and are communicated to the client prior to confirmation of the collaboration.
Service Delivery
Ask For Tax Free SRL provides facilitation and administration services for the VAT refund process for individuals residing outside the European Union, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
The provision of services is carried out:
- based on the request initiated by the client and the supporting documents related to eligible purchases;
- after verification of the documentation and confirmation that legal conditions are met;
- in accordance with internal procedures and the applicable deadlines for the refund process.
The processing time for a refund request may vary depending on:
- the accuracy and completeness of the submitted documents;
- obtaining customs validation;
- the chosen refund method;
- any additional checks required under the legal framework.
VAT reimbursement is made through the method chosen by the client (cash or bank transfer), in accordance with the conditions previously communicated.
